Ms. Tammy Frost is a Certified Physician Assistant licensed in California to practice medicine in collaboration with Dr. Peterson at Placer Health & Wellness. Ms. Frost has been practicing medicine in California for 5 years. In everything she does, Tammy seeks to ensure that her patients are front and center and that they receive customized treatment plans to fit their individual needs.

Ms. Frost comes to Placer Health & Wellness with a well-rounded experience.  Prior to practicing medicine, Tammy gained valuable skills while working in diverse fields including administration, physical therapy, emergency medicine, and research.

Ms. Frost obtained her MSPAS from King’s College, one of the oldest and most distinguished programs in the country. She competed with 1,600 applicants, for 12 spots, in this exceptional program. Prior to her graduate work, Ms. Frost obtained her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Northern Arizona University graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2000.  She is a National Health Service Corp Scholar and was nominated to receive the prestigious Gold Axe Award.

When not improving the lives of her patients, she enjoys spending time with family and friends. She is a passionate advocate for quality medical care and is currently working on a few business opportunities with the focus of enhancing patient care.
